Advice and Guidance when using the Ceramic Knife

Safe usage

*Only apply light pressure to the blade.

*Only use for cutting.Never use for hacking/levering or as a scraper.

*Do not apply sideways force to the blade.

*Always cut on a plastic or wooden board.Do not use marble,glass,metal or stone as a base.

*Never cut frozen foods,bones of fish bones.

*Do not hold the blade into open flames.Ceramics conduct heat.

*Do not drop.The blade can shatter and sharp-edged fragments can be formed.

Note

The blade is manufactured from high quality ceramics and will normally not need to be re-sharpened.Never grind the blade with a conventional grinding stone or grinding rod.If necessary,take the knife to a specialist.

Cleaning and storage

Clean the ceramic knife with hot soapy water.

Only clean the knife in a dishwasher if it does not touch the cradle,tableware or cutlery.

Preferably place in original packaing for storage.
